How much is everyone eating ?
Hi November buddies,
How much is everyone eating at this stage? I'm continuing to measure my food and generally get in 1/2 cup or 3-4 oz at mealtime. I noticed at Easter dinner on Sunday and at lunch today, I was able to eat a little more than my usual measurement. I did feel full and a little bit uncomfortable. Guess I'm just wanting to compare what everyone else is doing. Don't want to stretch the ol' pouch.

Today I had:
3 oz of tuna, right out of the can for Breakfast
2 slices of turkey breast lunch meat, free sample from Walmart for lunch
sliver of cheddar cheese for my lunch snack
4oz of tiplia fish & 2 spoonfuls of brown rice & 5 grapes for dinner
I feel pretty good, I'm not hungry, nor did I overeat...today was a good day

Yesterday I had:
Breakfast: Achieve One protein drink
Coffee with 2 ounce Mice Milk (Creamy vanilla protein that I use lighten coffee)
Lunch: 1/2 c. Salad (no drsg) 3-4 oz. Pork Chop (I was at a seminar and that was my only option)
Snack: Soy Crisps
Dinner: Oatmeal w/walnuts
Today:
B - Achieve One
L - 6 ounce Light & Fit yogurt w/All Bran cereal mixed in 1/2 c.
S - Baby Bell Light Cheese
S - I plan to have salmon & green beans

Sometimes there seems to be no rhyme or reason to how much I eat! Some days I have to remind myself to eat, others I seem to have hunger pangs every 3 hours. Some meals I can eat a good bit and other meals I'm stuffed after 2 bites! I am an exercise ADDICT but my hunger or lack of it doesn't seem to be tied to the amount of exercise I've had! Breakfast is almost always yogurt mixed with unflavored protein powder. I usually have a protein shake as a snack and then something with protein for lunch. I try to have some fruit every day. Right now I have watermelon, pineapple, apples and strawberries in the house. Sometimes I'll have a protein shake in the afternoons other times I'll just have some fruit or even a couple of crackers with cheese. I have chicken or meat for dinner with a few veggies but I miss my veggies! At restaurants I usually eat the tomato, cucumber and other veggies from my salad along with just a bite or two of the lettuce so I won't be too full for my protein. The other night I ordered chicken with wild rice and pineapple salsa. I ate a little of the zucchini and a few bites of the pineapple and peppers and a good bit of the chicken but left all the rice. Rice just doesn't seem to go down well with me. I was actually surprised how much chick I ate that evening because a few weeks earlier I'd had the same dish and taken home a large part of the chicken! You have lost OVER 100 pounds so you are doing something right, Lori! I don't think you've stretched your pouch!

A small salad with 3 oz chicken. A protein drink, and tonight some popcorn,and 1/2 cup pudding.
1 coffee mocha (home made high protein), this morning.
I have been home ill with a sinus infection, and on steroids, so I had some real hunger for a few days. I am winding down now, but mostly used really green stuff like fresh spinach steamed for a sec to get through it.
I have lost 134 pounds so far,nut says is normal to feel more hungry sometimes, it is up to me to fill the spaces with healthy choices.
I also drink,drink,drink...water.
