pain when I eat

Does anyone feel pain after eating 3 or 4 spoons of anything? I have a terrible time eating - sometimes I am so uncomfortable after I eat so little. Is this normal? I keep thinking that maybe something is wrong? I don't want to tell the doctor and have to have a endoscopy. Maybe I am just eating too fast or not cutting it up small enough? I don't have too much trouble with liquids. Any help????

That doesn't sound good. I know you don't want a scope but it sounds like you may be getting a stricture. It's best that you talk to your doctor...quickly!

You should call your doctor and go in for a check up. I held off calling the dr and ended up in the emergency room and had to have surgery one day later.

Talk to your surgeon. My stomach was made very small, but I didn't know that until my 6 mo check up . I also had pain on eating, along with nausea. Once the nausea resolved, the pain resolved for the most part, although I still have to eat slowly and very small bites.
