Oh my Goodness. I bought almost $100 of Easter candy to make baskets for my grandsons, kids, & mother. In hind sight that was a very bad idea. This is crazy. Nobody in my family needs the candy. I really need to re-think the way I celebrate holidays. Now, I'm sitting here wanting to eat everything in front of me. Geesh. Stupid.

I soooooooo agree Wanda!!!! This year I bought each of my girls 1 small chocolate bunny and then bought them all a toy (those fun tubes they can crawl in and out of - its pretty cool) and we are doing a lot Holiday things together - Dying Eggs, Stuffing an Eater Bunny - and making a healthy dessert for Easter. I am sure you family will LOVE the goodies that you are putting together for them Hugs, Britt

Oh wow can I relate to this! I went shopping last night and got one chocolate easter bunny for each of my kids, and a stuffed animal. I didn't want to get a bunch of candy and plastic easter eggs and everything. Besides, they are with their dad this weekend. So I told my fiance that I got them stuff and he wanted to do all the egg stuffing and bad eating stuff. So I have $47 worth of malted milk eggs, jellybeans, and M&M's in addition to the chocolate easter bunnies and stuffed animals. AND he wants to color easter eggs and have sugar cookies. Must be a tradition for him or something. I just wanted to lay low this year. I think it's ridiculous.
