Is this still happening to you?

Is anyone out there still losing hair? I am and I have been taking RX Grade Fish Oil and have been losing hair for a little over two months. I am not bald but am getting pretty thin and blah. Will this ever end? I can't remember, what is a normal amount of hair loss for a person w/o gastric bypass?

Christy, If you're one of the lucky 30% who loose their hair after ANY major surgery you'll end up loosing about half of your hair. By 6 months after surgery it should have stopped and your hair will begin growing in again. I'm still loosing mine and I know a lot of others are too so I think we just have to hang in there for another month or so. There is really very little we can do at this point. Corinna Q

I have always lost hair on a regular basis before surgery. After surgery it got pretty bad - a handful after I wash my hair. Just recently it subsided tremendously. I'm still losing hair but I am almost to pre-surgery levels now. I have little stray hairs that stand straight up and wave as they are growing back in! It gives me an interesting look...

ME!!! My hair has become so thinned out...I am hoping to get it cut very soon, and hopefully the new growth will be starting back soon also....

My hair is STILL falling out, too. My once beautiful natural curly hair looks like crap now!!!!! So thin, just yucky looking. Haven't worn it down in forever. Definately time for a trim once it stops falling out so much. It's got to stop soon! This is CRAZY!

I am with the group. My hair is coming out by the handful.. My once thick hair is thin and I am thinking about getting it cut. I would also like a body wave? Any suggestions?

For me, straight around the edges, have to wear a head band or gel my "baby hairs". I wear braids and I refuse to un braid for fear of what will be left. I hear tell this will pass.
