Newest Century Club Member!!

Hello girls, Just wanted to let everyone know that I am now the newest member of the Century Club and it is WONDERFUL!! I began my WLS on October 9, 2006, with my first consultation. Within one month, I was approved by insurance and on my way to my surgery date. Originally, my surgery was scheduled for November 9, but eventually I made it to the November 14th date. On the morning of surgery, I weighed 312.4 lbs. As of this morning, I weighed in at 209.8 lbs!!! I have not seen that number in almost 10 years!!! What a great feeling!!! In addition to the 100+ lbs lost, I have lost 59.5 inches total, all over my body. I begin my journed wearing a 26W, 3X tops. I am now comfortably into a 16W, 18 Misses, with most tops being 1X (or XL). I cannot express in words how this makes me feel, although I am sure everyone of you knows what this feels like! My confidence is through the roof, along with my energy level!!! I am less than 10 lbs from ONEDERLAND and that is the most incredible part of this journey! I haven't been in Onederland since before my daughter was born (1987)!! Thanks to all of you for your support on this board. Alot of times, you didn't even know you were giving me support, but your posts have helped me through a lot of tough times and struggling to know if I made the right decision. This board has a great support system and a super network of people I like to call friends! Thanks again for everything, Deidrah

What a great accomplishment! I know the feeling of being a weight we haven't seen for years. I'm heading into that territory now and it really feels great. Enjoy your new-found freedom! Congratulations!!!

Congratulations You and I share the same surgery date. I started at 331 lbs and haven't hit the century mark yet but am very much looking forward to seeing unfamiliar numbers on the scale and much smaller sizes in my closet (and on my behind!) Keep up the good work! Valorie

That is so cool. I've lost 100 pounds before but gained it right back. Isn't it nice to know that you are done with the gaining it back part? Congratulations! I am so happy for you!

Deidrah, Congratulations! You are doing so well. Most people can't say they have lost 100 lbs. Isn't it great?!!! You are so close to onederland too.
