Finally Broke Through!
Hi Wanda, I understand how you feel. I have only met a few people from this site in person, but I feel like we are all close friends. We all share so much of our feelings and experiences. I look forward to reading all the new posts to see how everyone is doing. I enjoy all the excitement and I also feel the disappointment when things aren't going as expected. The support I receive from everyone here is truly awesome. Everyone wants to help with advice and to share their experiences. I have visited a couple of the local support groups (really nice people too), but I truly enjoy the support we all receive here. I don't feel we will ever run out of things to talk about, nor do I feel we will drift apart. Some will come and go, but the core will continue on and continue to share their experiences, especially with those new to this experience. I'm so thankful that I have been given the opportunity to have this life saving surgery and for all the wonderful friends that I have met along the way. Having this surgery is personal, so I understand not telling everyone, maybe with time you will want to. Some people just have the wrong impression, so it's difficult for them to understand. At least you know how this surgery has changed your life and that's what is important. Have a wonderful day.
Good for you Wanda, congradulation on the weight lose!! I like you get stuck and all of a sudden "it is gone" I dont care if I am slow, at least I am not going UP. I too have a 10 lb goal a month, but I manage to only get in 8lbs but then again that is okay, I will stick to the plan. You really look good in your new pictures.

Hi Everyone! I too am slowing down. I lost 61.4 lbs in 20 weeks. My doctor said I will lost about 7 lbs a month. I was hoping for more but it's nice to have a loss every week! I would love to be in the 150's too...I was 162 today. I'm glad to be wearing size 12 pants and medium tops! I wonder if stepping up exercise will help???
