So, I went shopping yesterday. Found a great new second-hand store that sells current styles. I was so excited to find some cute clothes. And all the prices were $3 and $4. AND they had a sale, buy 3 get one free! I got 29 pieces of clothing for $87! I got a whole new summer wardrobe, all new jeans, tons of T-shirts, short overalls, skirts and jackets for work, dress pants, and shoes. The best part was, I took a bunch of 10's in the dressing room to try. I've only got one pair of size 10 jeans and they are stretch and a bit tight. But I tried on the 10's in regular jeans and they were BIG! I went to the rack and got some 8's and they fit! I almost screamed when I put them on, one after the other, and they all fit! I got two jean capris and a couple of other ones for wearing out and 2 pair for gardening (looser fit). The t-shirts I got were size Medium. I don't recall ever wearing a medium. Then, when my kids came home last night, my daughter was in shock at the t-shirts and thought I got some for her. I told her to try one on. And she did and it fit. Only is was MY shirt! She had a fit, and went eeeeewwww! LOL! So she said, I suppose you are going to be borrowing all my clothes now! I said no. But I bet you borrow MINE! LOL! She brought me a t-shirt of hers for me to try on and it fit, and she yelled, YUCK! YOU ARE GOING TO STRETCH IT ALL OUT!!! Typical 13 year old. Anyway, we had so much fun shopping! Just wanted to share.

Good for you, Skinny girl! I told you that you would wear a smaller size than you think. I'm glad that you found such great deals. My daughter is 31 years old and we seem to never be the same size at the same time. So when I gain weight, I give her my thinner clothes. I went and got them a few weeks ago (since she had gained weight so she couldn't wear them). Now they are too big for me! The great thing is, this time I know that I won't be going back up in size! I'm still waiting for "medium" to mean something to me other than a lady who looks into a crystal ball! Congrats on your great success!

That's SO great! Good for you. I just love being able to buy smaller and smaller sizes. I got to go try on formal dresses the other day and pulled them all off the normal rack. Of course formals have terrible uniformity in sizing so some I could wear a 14 most 16s were too big but then there was one that said it was 18 but it was beyond tiny. But it was such a great feeling to put these dresses on and some of them were quite clingy and there were no rolls to agonize over in the mirror. I loved it!!! Corinna Q

Good for you what a bargain. I've bought a few things but am afraid by the time summer rolls around here nothing will fit.
