To Energy Drink or Not to Energy Drink, that is the question.
Does anyone use any of the energy drinks on the market? Are they safe for us as long as they have no sugar? What about caffeine? Most are full of B vitamins and herbal stuff. Can they help the metabolism get a jump start? Anyone ask their Surgeon or NUT about them? Anyone, besides me, feel a lack of energy lately? The first couple of months my energy soared but now....nada. After a long day at work, a trip to the health club and dinner for the family, I am ready for bed by 8. It is all I can do to keep my head up now, think I will go night-night as my 18 month old would say!
HELP!!

I don't drink much caffiene just what's in green tea. Are you taking your vitamins? I thnk that makes a huge difference for me. Do you take any meds that might have to be dcreased because of your weightloss? I take a drug to help me sleep for my fibromyalgia and I've had to decrease it by half. Just some ideas for you.

I personally wouldn't want to use energy drinks, they've got lots of caffeine and other stuff to artificially boost your energy. I would ask my Dr if I were you. Also Have you had your labs done? Are you low on iron? You might want to try adding a separate iron supplement every day. A definite side effect of low iron/anemia is very low energy and tiredness. My surgeon was very picky about me getting additional iron beyond what my multi vitamin has. A quick blood test will tell you if you're anemic.
