Hilarious WOW moment

So, my fiance was doing some laundry of ours; me, my kids and his. He folded up some pants and skirts for me to hang up. He told me this morning there was another pair of black pants that I could wear to work. I picked them up and looked at them and they didn't look familiar. I put them up to myself and they were long enough. They were NIKE active wear pants. Black. I thought, "Oh, those are my 13 year old daughter's. I have to hem them." But my fiance egged me on to try them on. I was like !!! They are size SMALL (4-6) and they fit! Now, I'm only in a size 12 jean. Almost into a 10. But these were stretch and fit. They didn't seem too tight or anything! He said I should wear them in front of my daughter and tease her that we wear the same size. LOL! Boy, that would probably humiliate her, which I wouldn't want to do, but I was so tickled! I would never think to look for a size SMALL anything, EVER! Woo hoo for me! And, finally, I broke a 3 week stall, loosing another 2 lbs. yesterday. I am down 59 lbs. now. Isn't as much as some of you, but I guess that's ok. I have 18 lbs. till my made-up goal. Wonder if I will get there.

My dress in due in in late May. When it comes I will ask about how long it will take to get altered and go in as late as possible. I know I will create some stress for myself doing this, but dang, I want my dress to fit! Thanks, Britt

That is so awesome... congrats on being so close to your goal... I still have 68 pounds to go for mine, so you may not have lost as much as some of us, but you didn't have as much to lose either, so you need to look at it that way... WTG!!!! I now how frustrating those stalls can be, glad to hear you broke it... keep up the good work... Shawn M.

That is so funny! I knew that if you started trying on other sizes that you would find that you weren't really a 12! You are doing so great!

Well, I'm about ready to try size 10 jeans. The 12's are getting a little big. Now that I finally broke my plateau, maybe I'll start losing a little bit again so I can fit in a 10. Thanks, Wanda.

That is awesome Kim! Don't sweat that you havent' lost as much as others... I havent' either, but am (like you) thinking of trying on a size 10 next time I'm at the store because my (size 12) jeans are getting a bit baggy! This is such an awesome experience and one I am SO grateful to have! Of course you'll reach your goal, it's only 18 more lbs and you (we) are ONLY 4 months out! Marilyn
