Cissy stopping by to say hello to my Nov buddies !

Hi ladies, you all look ma-va-lus! LOL....but really you all do ! I am 6 weeks out from having the Gastric sleeve. I am 30 lbs down so far. It's a similar wt lss to yours, but theres no mal-absorbtion, dumping or anything like that. No involvment with the intestines. It can be the first half of a two part surgical procedure. The RNY would be the second stage about a year later than the first part. ..but you can possibly loose all your wt just with the gastric sleeve, and hopefully don't need the RNY later. I am hoping for that. ..so we shall see in time. So far so good. I've never gone back to smoking since I quit on Nov 28th, so it's been over 3.5 months. I feel so much physically better, and to think of all the money I haven't spent on the dam things. (Here in NJ they are almost 6 dollars a pack.) with tax. Well, we will all look and feel so much better in all ways than before, and wow, what a nice summer to look forward too as well. I consider you November ladies my first friends on OH. That was when I was originally thinking of having my surgery. It ended up in Feb though, and that worked out the best for me anyway.
