I had my gallbladder surgery...

I was admtted from the emergency room Monday with cholecystitis (infection and inflammation of gallbladder) and multiple gallstones and I passed stones thru my bile duct. I was put on Iv fluids and Iv antibotics and had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) on Wednesday. I went home Thursday afternoon. I'm doing better and just take my pain medicine when needed. Thanks to all of you who wished me well. Pattie

Pattie, Glad to hear you are home and doing well.... Sorry you had to go through that after just having your WLS.... I know most doctors remove the gallbladder during WLS now, too bad yours didn't, you wouldn't have had to go through a second surgery.... At least they figured out your pain and fixed you up though.... Hope you are up and around soon.. take care and get some rest.... Shawn M.
