Went shopping over the weekend and I got into a size 16 jeans. They are elastic waisted but still they are a 16! And I bought 2 pair of shorts in a size Large! I am soooo happy. Plus I got on the scale this morning and I am only 3 lbs away from my goal of losing 60 lbs by vacation (which is SATURDAY). I really might just make it! I go for my follow up on wednesday. Hoping that goes well, but in any case 57 lbs is nothing to sneeze at!

Good for you! I'm sure that you will make your 60 pound goal. Let me know how you do on vacation. I fly to Vegas in April and you can't take liquids on the plane. I'm wondering how to get my protein supplements in. Protein bars make me gain weight. Have fun! Vacations are just sooo much more fun when we are thinner!

I had a business trip to Vegas last month. I went to the Walgreens on the strip and bought Atkin's shakes, and skim milk which I kept in a cooler in my room. I took some of the individual samples of protein mixes with me and my shaker cup. I put them in my checked luggage no problems. I also kept cheese sticks and nuts in my room so I could get in some protein. Good luck with your trip!. Sandy

Thanks for the info. I've only been to Vegas once and I didn't remember any stores on the strip. I won't have a car so I thought I would be stuck with no place to pick anything up! That relieves some concern I had.

Have a great time in Vegas, Wanda. Here's my suggestion for you... instead of relying on a cooler, tell the hotel you need a fridge to keep your medicine in - they don't need to know exactly what you're keeping in there. 99.9% of the time they have them available and they won't usually charge you if it's for a medical reason. You can store your skim milk and bottles of water. I would also suggest getting the individual packets of Unjury unflavored protein powder. It's easy to dump a little into whatever you are eating and they travel well. I just throw them into my suitcase. Hope this helps! xoxo, robin
