A Sobering Moment

I made the mistake of looking at my back side in the mirror while nude. OMG. Do you all know what a Sharpei looks like? It's a dog with rolls of droopy skin. A very sad realization when I came to terms with the fact that me and the sharpei have something in common.

You're right! I'm thinking thin...I'm thinking thin. But I think I'll hold off on taking that second look for awhile.

I did that the other day as well... so far my only difference is less dimples... LOL..... That is a good thing though... I am sure mine will get like that too though.. I have already started a PS fund... I know I will need it eventually.... That is an option down the road but for now, just think of how much healthier we all are.... Shawn M.

Ok-since it's just us girls here- (LOL!) I was walking through the living room this morning and my BF grabbed my fanny. Well I went to scamper away and he had a handful of my chubby BUTT in his hand. The good news is that he can grab it-its not SOOO big he can't get his hands on it. The BAD news is that this should NOT be possible. It should be way more firm than that! We just looked at each other in shock and then burst out laughing. What can we do ? We must carry on. LOL! It's like someone has deflated my buns! Hugs!! Therese

Therese.. you are funny! Thanks for sharing your story. It made me laugh. Also my friend and I have also laughed over the changes happening in my body. Sometimes we laugh to the point of tears. Your right. Nothing we can do but carry on

We still have hope. I read that it takes 18 months for your skin to shrink back as much as it's going to shrink back. I will have PS way before then. There are just some areas that can't be tucked so I'm glad that we will experience continually shrinkage for a while.

I will trade you can have my breasts! The only thing that makes them look good anymore is one of those nice perky bras otherwise they look like tube socks with sand in them and I am only 30 years old! If I get any skin fixed it will be my breasts... I feel so unwomanly sometimes .... eww.

I'm right there with you, Heather. I plan on plastic surgery for a breast lift and a tummy tuck when I reach goal weight. I can't wait. I'll trade the scars for some perkiness!
