My husband has been encouraging me to buy some smaller jeans. My 14's were getting a little loose so I thought I would try 12's. Well I ended up with (drum roll, please) size 10!! OMG! They are snug but I was able to zip them without laying down so they are keepers!

DH is delighted. He is my biggest cheerleader. He never said a word when I gained all of that weight; he loved me through it all. He could see the devestation that it was having on my life and my depressed state of mind when I couldn't stop gaining. Now, he celebrates every single pound with me. I felt guilty spending our entire savings on this surgery when I probably could have gotten surgery to pay for it eventually. He says that it was worth every penny!

Ooops...I mistyped. I meant to say we probably could have gotten the INSURANCE to pay for it eventually.
I was fortunate enough to get insurance approval with no problem, and it only took 6 days! Of course, I had thought about this for 2 years before pursuing it, it took my diabetes to get totally out of control even on insulin to realize I had to do something drastic. I would have spent everything on it if I had to. I am sure your husband feels that your life being healthier and longer is well worth the investment!
congratulations again!

It's not even possible that you are in 12's and I am in 10's. I think that you will find when you go shopping that you are in a much smaller size than you think! My suits and dresses are still size 14. Jeans seem to be much more forgiving than business attire. You know what the best part of this story is? They are designer jeans that were deeply discounted to $11! Try finding that at Lane Bryant!
