Getting honest worked!
Since my post a few days ago, I am down almost 4 pounds! For me, cutting down on my snacks really helped. I also found my knitting needles, and plan to pick them up and make dish clothes and listen to a book on tape when I have those "I gotta eat something" moments (hours?days?). God bless everyone, and the journey we have undertaken.

Good for you! It never hurts any of us to take a brutally honest look at ourselves. I'm glad that it paid off for you.
LOL..
I just saw my Dr today & he wasnt happy..
he said I was snacking too much.
He told me to eat 2/3 cup of protein in meat, chicken, cheese or fish. 3 times a day.
Drink water or in my case decaf, unsweet ice tea & thats it, NO SNACKS, NO protein shakes (which is fine with me.I hate protein shakes)
He said I should have been down in the 180's already, which WOULD make an 80 pound weight loss so far...BUT..NOOOOOO He wasnt happy with my 62 pound loss so far.
I weigh 197 today, my next appt is in May & he said if I stuck to this plan I would be down in the 160''s/170's by then....so we'll see. It's gonna be tough
I have had NO snacks so far today, as shocking as that is for me. I had a trail mix power bar for b fast, A JR Arby's roast beef sandwich minus the bun for lunch & a 4oz tabilit fish baked for dinner...tonight will be the tough part, I like my after dinner snack..LOL
