Ok ....so where is EVERYONE in their weightloss?
Ok...I wanna know how EVERYONE is doing with their weightloss...and any good tips you wanna share with others?
I will be the first and go ahead and share my info~ Before surgery: 234 /3 months out:167
I went from a size 16/18 & XXL to 8/10 and M-L
WOW GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!
My tip: 90% of the times you think you are HUNGRY, you are ACTUALLY thirsty!
3 months out, 88 pounds down. before surgery 328 pounds, now 240. I went from a size 30 to right now a size 22/20.
I've had a lot of complications and have been on campbell's chicken broth and saltines for some time now.
I eat very slowly and only eat for 30-45 minutes. i chew up all of my food really good, and i don't put anything into my mouth (for a meal not a taste) of anything I shouldn't. I eat all my protein first. I haven't walked, but really haven't had that kind of energy yet. I started walking 2 miles when I started getting complications.
I sometimes forget to eat and have been nauseated and start to dry heave at my desk at work. I realized when I'm hungry, I feel sick.
I can tell you its wearing on my mental health right now. I have good days and I have bad days. I am just getting over a cold I got a week after having my gallbladder taken out, and I am starting to feel 95% better. I can't wait to feel 150% again. I know it will happen soon.
Thank you for the well wishes.
Hi Tabitha,
I'm a little over 3 months out and have lost 86 lbs, going from 330 lbs to 243 lbs. I was wearing over a size 26 (probably a 30) and am now wearing a size 20 jeans (actually fit into a pair of my mom's 18's.)
I try to always eat my protein first and believe that's definetly the way to go. Lately the carb demon is on my back and I've reached a plateau that I just can't break.
I have trouble getting all my water in and am trying really hard to do that.
I exercise 5 days a week by walking at least 2 miles a day. Hopefully I can get that up to 4 miles in the very near future.
That head hunger is driving me crazy !!
Hugs

Tabitha, you are doing a little better than me. I started at 234 and I am now 178.5. But I have absoulutely ruined my metabolism through the years with excessive dieting...and I am older than most of my November sisters. I usually take opportunities like this to remind everyone that I am a grandmother of six...just for sympathy points.
