I really don't want to get a reputation around here but I have another tip. A friend told me that Ophra said that most women should buy a bra that is one size smaller in the band and one cup size larger. She tried it and it fit better than her old bras. My band size already went from a 44 to a 38 so I wasn't about to go down in the band, but I went up a cup size and OMG...it's the best fit I ever had. I always thought I was a C cup but now I know I'm a D! Try it--you may be surprised.

Wanda. I think it is like 80% or something crazy like that of woman that wear the wrong bra size. They say we are constantly changing and we should be measured each year for the right bra size. And that all those pinches and pokes that we get from underwires goes away once you have on the right size also. I haven't bothered measuring in a while, but i was surprised the last time I measured to find (like you said) that I was a D versus a C cup. Once I am down to my goal weight I will make sure to get remeasured before buying any new bras.

Last time I went to the Leggs, hanes, bali playtex outlet and got measured (PRE-OP) the woman tried telling me I was a 50 B !! I tried a few on and I was like... NO WAY get the heck out of here. They were the most uncomfortable bras I had ever had on. I bought and wore a 46DD.. Until I had surgery and now Im a 42D, almost /probably should be wearing a C cup.. I miss my "girls" !!

LOL Brit. I am losing mine too. It is one of my hopes to get a new set after I've reached my goal weight. Sounds like that girl didn't know what she was doing when she measured you. Some of them are clueless. I bet there is a place online some place that you can read how to properly measure yourself. Of course I think you would have to have a significant other or a girlfriend help you out. I don't think its the kinda thing you can measure yourself.

I just bought new undies this weekend. Bras and underwear. I HATE doing it, but everything was so BIG. I went from a 44DD to a 38D. I've always struggled with my bras and have always had difficulty finding good fitting styles. Now that I'm deflating a bit, it's almost harder because I either pooch out the front (if the cup is a bit on the small side), or have so much extra material on top because my boob just lays in the cup with this ugly fold that goes under my arm. My fiance and I have talked about the possibility of PS down the road and I really am against implants. Especially when I measure a D, lol. But I wonder if I'd need something to fill out the top. It's really embarrassing. Oh, and on the underwear, no more granny panties! I got some nice hi-cut briefs in rich purple and burgundy, black, white and nude. I fit back into size 6 undies!!! I parade around in my underwear now. I love it!

Kim, I noticed that if I try on a molded cup bra it gaps at the top. I had to change to the soft-cup style. I've been thinking of PS too. I'm like you--I don't think I need implants but definitely a breast lift and a tummy tuck. I hear the TT is one rough surgery! It's hard to get too motivated for another major surgery just yet!
