Another Stricture!!!

Hello fellow posters: Well, it happened again! Another stricture! I had my first one dilated on Jan 25th and I did wonderfully until this Monday. Then, things started not to go down anymore. Things I was eating with no problem since the 26th! So I called my dr's office Thursday (everything was making me nauseous) and they scheduled me for another EGD. I couldn't imagine that I would have another one this soon. I struggled with going ahead with the 2nd EGD but after my attempt at lunch Thursday (which would not go down), I realized I had to do it. So this morning I had to make the two-hour drive (AGAIN) and had the EGD. Sure enough, I had another stricture!! My doc said it is common but usually anything after the second stricture is not as common. He thinks that this one will do it. I tried my egg omelet after I got home and it went down beautifully!! So now I pray that this will be the last one!! I'm down 75 lbs as of yesterday (my birthday gift to myself!) so I hope that won't slow down now. Everyone on here is doing absolutely fantastic!!! Wow Deidrah... a second one?!?!? You poor thing.... I know how it feels the first time, I can't imagine a second time... At least they were able to clear it up quickly for you and you will be doing fine now... Hopefully it does not return... WTG on the 75 pounds...
