I know exactly how you feel... Many times I just need that one sip... something... gotta rinse my mouth out and I just can't NOT drink something with my food... it is much harder than I ever thought it would be.... Shawn M.

I am soooo bad at this. I do drink a few small sips while I am eating. I know I am not supposed to, I just can't help myself.

It is a hard habit to change. Sometimes I forget and order a coffee after dinner and have to just leave it sit. I'm sure the servers think we are weird not ordering a beverage or leaving the untouched beverage on the table.

I am having problems with this too. I LOVE spicey foods & usually need a drink so bad after a bite. I suck on a little piece of ice, yeah I know I shouldn't ..but it helps.

It is a terrible challenge, but I've been coping. There's only been a couple times where I just had to wet my mouth with the smallest of sips. Donna

So many times I find myself checking the time as soon as I'm done eating, so I know when I can finally get something to drink. But, like everyone else I have those moments when I just simply need a sip while eating. I've heard two different reason why we are suppose to do this. Someone said that if you do drink while eating your taking a chance of having your pouch stretched. And then I heard that the reason your suppose to wait at least a half hour after eating is so that your not flushing the food out of the pouch to soon before you can obtain the feeling of being full. Does anyone have any verification on either one of these? Debbie
