2 Month Check-in
Okay everyone thought I might check in and let everyone know I haven't died yet LOL. Here is my 2 month update.
Today is 2 months exactly for me and things are looking much brighter now. I started working again last week, feels good to be productive again. Here are my weight stats for ya
Started at 301 lbs
Today at 255 Lbs
Total Loss 46 lbs ..... WOOT
I went from a size 28 pants to a 22/24 comfortable.
and finally a funny little story you might get a kick out of.
I had decided when I hit the 250s I would start riding my bike again, mind you I hadn't ridden one in years, probably before my kid was born. All this time my bike has been mournfully sitting in the garage just waiting for someone to take it for a spin. Sunday morning I weighed myself and Oh my gosh... 255???? Wheres my bike?? LOL. I was so excited I asked my dad to pump up the tires and I was ready to ride WOOT WOOT. I got on and sent up a little prayer that I would remember how to even and I started off... clicking of gears pumping of pedals.... I was doing it, I didn't fall over or nothing. I took a few laps around our elongated court feelings great, but still I am obese so I was getting tired because I also wasn't used to it. I sped up shooting for our long driveway and wanting to quit for now. I hit the driveway and squeezed the brake handles..... squeeze..... squeeze... WHAM I slammed right into the garage door and knocked myself silly...... 6 years later... my bikes brakes were not working. LOL. needless to say it is now parked dutifully BACK in the garage and I am hunting for a bike repair shop. I tell it, "don't worry we will go riding again soon, but next time I will be in charge of the stopping"
Happy Wednesday Morning ALL!!

Congrats on such a great job... you are doing great!!!!
That is a pretty good story about the bike... I needed a laugh for the day.... LOL.... Glad you weren't hurt, that would not have been funny.... I can just see it though and that makes it even funnier.... Thanks for sharing your story...
Keep up the good work...

Good for you!! Keep up the good work. Does'nt it feel wonderful to have lost so much weight?and its only the begining!!I know I am so thrilled about that part.
I know for me every time now that I step on the scale I am so amazed, and my jeans are starting to get big on me again.I have'nt been able to say that for a long time!!!
I was thrilled when I lost a little weight right after my surgery and my pants actually went on w/out me having to lye down to zip them up.Now those pants don't even stay on! Our journey to a new life is going to be so awesome!
You will have to let me know how you are doing.
Take care!!
