6 weeks post op

Hi all, I've been very scarce lately, mostly due to the overwhelming work load. Anyhow, today is my 6 week anniversary. I can hardly believe just a mere six weeks ago I was getting ready to begin the journey of a lifetime, that has done nothing but give me hope and promise. I'm down 44lbs as of this a.m., down three pants sizes and two shirt sizes. I actually feel more like a woman instead of a blob! Just wanted to share that with you all. Michelle

Good job Michelle. Tomorrow is my 8 week anniversary and I have only lost 32.5 since surgery. The doctor said that is GREAT but I thought it should be more Keep up the good work. Tammy

I agree with you Michelle. I can't believe that 8 weeks ago I was fat, miserable, and desperate sitting in the cold pre-op room waiting for my last chance to rid myself of the fat that was killing me. So much has happened since then and already my life has changed. A week post-op I looked at my husband with tears streaming down my face and said "I can't believe we did--we don't have to think about it anymore--IT'S DONE!!" I never felt the post-op depression that many people feel. I'm just happy!

I had my 2 month with Dr Fang on Monday, I have lost 75 pounds total, counting the 2 week pre- surgery diet he put me on. I am grateful, and also grateful I found this group again! We are the best of the best!!
