I'll be 2 months on the 15th. I'm down 30 lbs. so far. I've been at a plateau for over a week now. So far I haven't gone off any meds, but I have an appt. Jan. 23 and will do my labs at that time. I think I'll be on track. My GERD is gone too. My incontenence is MUCH better. I'm hoping to see my cholesterol down. And my blood pressure is normal now. I was not on meds for that before though, so no reduction in meds there. But a problem resolved.

Awesome weight loss! I'm trying to be very protein minded when I eat. My doctor told me that I was too worried about the protein shakes and not worried enough about getting my protein thru food. He said it was ok to use a shake every now and then as a meal replacement but to strive for the food intake. I'm eating alot of baked salmon, shrimp, and chicken. The chicken seems to set harder on my tummy than other things, so for now, I not to eat too much of that. For snacks, I eat pork skins and peanut butter. I ordered some items from www.waldenfarms.com and received those in the mail today. Everything they had is suppost to be sugar free, calorie free and carb free. I got some marshmallow dip, chocolate dip, caramel dip, ketchup, and thousand island dressing. I'm looking forward to trying them. I did open up the caramel dip and tested it, to me it tasted more like butterscotch ( which i loveeeeeeeee). lol

I'm going to order some stuff from Walden Farms. I want to try the salad dressings and the chocolate and caramel dips. Sounds yummy! I've been trying to get most of my protein by food. I went to FitDay today to record my progress and am very pleasantly surprised that I have gotten most of my protein today from food. Looks like I still need one shake a day, but that's pretty good!

Hello, I'm a little over 5 weeks & have lost 41 lbs. I was wondering... I have ONLY ever eaten shrimp fried & of course cant eat like that. Can you tell me how you prepare your shrimp?

Congrats on the 41 lbs!!!!!! Thats great! I have to honestly say that I dont cook shrimp!!! lol I either go to the frozen seafood section of my local walmart and buy the precooked shrimp or I buy it at a resturant. Captain Ds has a low calorie meal thats called shrimp scampi. The shrimp is on a bed of rice and its served with steamed veggies and steamed broccli. Its really good. I'm a tennessee sounthern country gal so cooking shrimp is above my cooking talents. lol
