Ok wow, this is a serious milestone. I just got a wow moment. New Years Eve is the big day to eat anything I want to for the rest of my life.!! OMG! DDDDUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHH Cissy! New Years Day I start on the protien drinks medi fast diet with one lean and green meal for dinner. I will eat spinach, fish, turkey, chicken and maybe lean beef once or twice...for the next two weeks. Then I should be having my GBS on Jan 15th. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Please remember me in your prayers. Thank you, Cissy

Hello Cissy, You are in my prayers always, I will continue to pray that our good Lord takes care of you from now and forever though out your journey, no need for us to worry because we are in His hands forever. I pray for you all the best! The time will just fly by for you before your surgery, have a slice of good ole cheese cake for me, a small one. Chrisy

Dont think of it as your last meal day... think of it that you are preparing yourself for your new body! Your new body wont really like the same things (weird how our tastes change!) you enjoy now. I remember feeling this sense of urgency to eat all those foods I love... but then I got an email from a 'post oper' who said that these foods were poison to me... why would I want to willingly eat them? Kinda made sense to me. (Didnt stop the cravings though!) These two weeks will whip by... then you can join us all on the losers bench! I wish you a very speedie recovery!

Sharon, yes darlin' you are right. I have to think about that "poisen" that is what I have to say . My problem has always been sweets, sugar and chocolate. I hope my taste changes for that....and that I begin to enjoy protien, fruits and veggies eventually. How are you feeling miss Sharon? Happy new year to you and Happy new You! Cissy who is not biting my nails anymore

I thought this too at first, but really, in time you do get to eat just about anything, in moderation, that you can tolerate. I know my sweet craving went WAY down, and I used to be practically addicted to chocolate. So, it's not so bad now. I take a bite or two of something instead of eating a whole dessert. It's all good. Good luck with your diet until your surgery.
