Turkey Chili
My doc said no peanut butter because its a high fat protein but guess what, when its the only thing that goes down sometimes, I say better higher (good type) fat than no protein at all. When I am having a really bad eating day (not enough) I just take a tablespoon of it and eat it like that, I use simply jiff.. low sugar and stuff and I don't have too many problems. hope this helps.

For my diet I am allowed 2 - 3 saltine crackers so sometimes I eat the peanut butter on that, sometimes I just eat a tablespoon of peanut butter. I buy the reduced fat peanut butter. But unlike other protein where I am allowed 2 oz. I am only allowed 1 oz. of peanut butter. I am sure this is because of how high in fat it is. Hope that helped.

Can turkey chili be considered a soft food? I know ground beef isn't but maybe ground turkey could be. I'm still suppose to be soft foods until 9 weeks post-op.
