What's the average weight loss???????

I am 22 days post op (RNY) and have lost 31 pounds. I am ecstatic with that but I was wondering what the average weight loss is. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

I had my surgery on Nov 6th..I am down 45-47 pounds... Woohoooo

My surgery was 11/16, and I am down 36 lbs. I was expecting more..(lord knows why???) Looks like I'm right on track

thats a great loss.....your doing good....is that lbs. lost after surgery or since pre-op diet...i've lost 42 lbs. since pre-op diet and 27 lbs. since surgery... way to go...

Hi I am 7 weeks post op tomorrow, and I have lost 28.6 lbs, slower than most but I only have around 95lbs total to lose, so I am hoping its because of that and I am trying to be patient.

Hello, you are doing wonderful. 22 lbs in about 3 weeks is great. I am 5 weeks today and down 32 lbs since surgery and 42 total (since 2 weeks before surgery). I was stalled for about 9 nine days between a 1/2 to 2 1/2 weeks. I think my body was just trying to catch up and adjust.. I lose between 1/2 to 1 lbs a day..

I also seem to be losing more slowly than many of you. I am just over a month post op - I have lost 37 lbs since starting my pre-op diet one month before surgery, 19 since surgery. Like Quanita, I don't have as much to lose as some, and I am hoping that is why I am going a little more slowly. I am also hoping that since I am losing more slowly, my skin might adjust better. I don't know if that will make any difference, but I can always hope! Lori

I had my surgery on 11/27 so I'm 24 days out as of today. I didn't weight myself this morning but as of yesterday morning I was down 29 pounds since my surgery, and 44 since 2 weeks before surgery and the pre-op diet.

I am 6 weeks post-op today and I have lost 27 1/2 pounds. I had a stall at weeks 3 and 4 and am now losing again. I was hoping I would be farther along as I have about 203 to lose (total).
