1 Month for me
Well, I thought I'd post a 1 month post op report. I've lost 21 pounds since surgery for a total of 52. I LOVE it! I am having a hard time getting in all of the protien and food I"m suppose to. I'm just never hungry and don't want to eat most of the time. I haven't been working out at all but I'm literally on my feet all day six days a week right now so by the end of the day I'm worn out. (this is our busy season) I hope to start up in January.
So one of my wow moments was the other day I decided to bake christmas cookies/candy because I LOVE to bake and figured everyone at work would like the goodies. So I made fudge, coconut macaroons and gingerbread men. I was so amazed that there was never a moment that I actually wanted to eat any of it. I just didn't care about eating it. And you must understand that those are my absolute favorite things. But I got tons of joy from cooking it and seeing everyone else enjoy the goodies so that was pretty darn cool. There were a couple of moments when I started to lick a spoon out of pure habit but not because I actually wanted it.
Well, my puppy is getting annoyed with me that I'm ignoring him so I better pay attention or he's going to get into things he'll get in trouble for
Hope everyone is doing well!

Sounds like you're doing a great job! I baked a cake for my family last week and when I was all done, I allowed myself ONE small lick of the spoon and that was all I wanted. What a huge change from before surgery! (and no, I didn't try to eat any of the cake when it was done!)
