A Brand New Attitude

My life has changed so much since the surgery. I had lost my hope before and was sinking into depression. Now that my hope is back I am so upbeat and happy. I am at peace. Even though my weight loss is slow, I feel like each pound that is lost is lost forever. I know it gets more difficult to maintain your weight the farther you are away from surgery. But now we have a tool that will work for us if we keep working the program. Obesity is a terrible disease that robs us of our very soul. Surgery was a drastic step but thank God we were brave enough to take it! I wish us all the success that we deserve. It's our time for a good life now.

Hi, I am on your side as well!! My weight is slow, but I will take whatever I can get and keep with the program! Yes, our surgeries were a drastic step, and the last step in my book but our Lord is with me and all of us on this board and I would not have it any other way, and I would surely "do it again" I feel so much better now than I have in years, my back, legs and feet dont hurt as bad and I have not had the horrible heart burn since day one of my surgery, so I really have a new attitude with that out of the way.
