4 weeks out
Marlin,
I describe it is AS a vise grip is tightening up ALSO. It is just terrible. I cannot figure it out either .. . eating too much after only 2/ 3 bites - or if it just doesn't agree. I wish I knew - I guess we will figure it out ... one day
You are doing great so far. 30 pounds ! yay for Y-O-U!
I to am dealing with the head hunger thing too ... it is hard! You feel full after a liitle bit but your head is saying - are you kidding me thats all??????????
I threw up 3 times total ... That is enough. I am sure the more I introduce - there is a chance i may again (I really hope not) How can you throw up 6 times after eatting only 2/3 bites ... I cannot figure that out. It seems that when the pouch is pissed it want EVERY SINGLE crumb out of there!
Keep in touch,
Britt
Britt, you are doing just wonderful! I too am at a stall and have lost the 21 lbs, I walk everyday 1 to 3 miles a day. But now that it is getting sooooo cold out, I have taken to ride the stationary bike inside. I have started soft food and I too am done at 3 o4 bite and that is it, dont want to force myself and it has been more than a half hour so I guess I will have to wait until later to try some more, keep up the good work.

I will be 4 weeks tomorrow. I lost 25 pounds, but I was sick for a whole week last week, now it seems that my weight is starting to stall too. I heard that this happens, but it will pick back up in a week or two. I sure hope so. It feels like I hardly eat enough to keep a bird alive! Hope you continue to do well.
I too am 4 weeks out today. I am down 18 pounds and figured I would be closer to 30 by now. Doctor said a pound a day but this plateau seems to be common amongst others at this same point. I am going to try eating a little less and walking a little more. I am a substitute teacher and was on my feet most of the day today, so that probably helps at least a little bit.

I think I have been eating too much at one time, multiple items of 4 or 5 bites of each thing. I am going to try to drop back to one item at a time and walk more and see if that makes any difference. The first 3 weeks were easier b/c it was pureed and liquids and I knew how much at a time I could take in. With the soft foods, short of measuring everything, I don't know how much at a time to take in. Maybe I can suggest that in the nutrition classes that I had to do, they have the people make menu plans for step 3 and step 4 not just step 2. When I go back in January, I will mention that too the nutritionist. It would be interesting to get her take on the idea.
