16 days out!!
Hey all. I am 16 days and at weigh in on day 14 I had lost 15 pounds!! I am very excited and go back to the doctor on Monday. I will hopefully be moving to the next food step on Monday!! I am doing well and have not had any problems or complications. I have been without pain (most of the time) for 5 days now.
Hi Kristina, I too had my surgery on Nov 7 and have lost 20lbs as of today, at my pp his scales said 26, but I think I will go by mine at home and then I go again on the 13th of Dec to my surgeon. I have to stay on full liquids for a total of 4 weeks and then introduce pureed foods, I am not hungry so that really helped preparing yesterdays dinner. I will be praying for both of us.

Hi Kristina, I had my surgery in June and I've already lost 66 pounds. Dr. Warnock is so pleased that he will let me try any foods that I want to. I have been very carefull about eating from the very beginning after the surgery and I have only had one incident of "dumping". I just plain ate too much. So watch the portions as you proceed on your journey. Be sure and take your vitimens, iron, portein and PREVACID. I did not take my prevacid because Ithought it was acid reflux and since I did not have acid reflux after the surger, I did not take the prevacid and developed a bleeding ulce and had to have four units of blood. But now I'm doing great. I go in December 6 for my 6 months check up and I have only 30 pounds to go to reach my goal. Keep a positive attitude and don't let setbacks discourage you. Good luck.
Kathleen.
Hey Kathleen,
I had to write and ask you how your hospital stay was at regionial, I am headed there in the morning I leave my house at 4am and have to check in by 5:15. I am so worried not about Dr Warnock I love him, its the unknown of the nurses and the hosptial staff I have had some horrible experiences in hospitals, and their staff......
Just thought I would see if you were on at some point you could give me a run down...
thank you so much and congrats on the 66 pound weight loss hope I am there in a few months.. give me all the pointers you can think of I would be forever grateful
