Hi all - Everything went just as planned and was very successful. I had Lap-Band surgery today on an outpatient basis and am now home and doing fine. The hardest part of the day was the traffic coming home - felt sorry for my boyfriend having to drive through that. I live an hour and a half from the hospital and it took us well over two and a half, I think. I'm sore and experiencing gas pains in my shoulder, but otherwise doing well. I'm tolerating liquids fine and even got in a small protein drink this evening. I have meds for the pain and the nausea and that seems well under control. Thanks to all of you for your kind wishes going in. I'm excited to begin the journey now that I'm on the losing side! Best, Stephanie

Hi Stephanie Welcome home, Glad everything went well for you! Couple of tips: - try putting a heating pad on your shoulder, it did wonders for me with the gas pains - don't wait to feel pain before you take your meds, take them on schedule, no point suffering. WOO HOO !!! to you, now let the losing begin! Take Care Q
