One week Post-Op
One week post-op and down 11.5 pounds and a total of 21.5 since 2 weeks prior o surgery. Feeling pretty good, getting very sick when I take my effexor for a short while. Nothing seems to relieve this. I do hear my stomach growl, that is kind of weird. I will be able to start having soft foods in 4 more days, I cant wait. I am actually a bit hungry. I know I have some head hunger but I think I am having real hunger. Is anyone else having this?
HANG IN THERE CHRISTY! I am 2 weeks post op and was really worried about the hungry feeling. DONT GIVE IN! When they did the surgery they cut all of your hunger nerves so its not really your stomach its all the head hunger. I cried almost everyday the first week bc I wanted everything that I couldnt have. When you start to think your hungery start sipping your liquids! The head hunger does go away! People used to tell me that and I was like yea whatever, but it does. Its important that you go by your doc's amts of intake b/c you dont want to cause any probs. I even admit to taking in to much I should have at first b/c I was so excited about puree foods. Hey I'll be a week post op tommorow and i have lost27 pnds since the pre surgical dieting, almost fainted yesterday, was feeling really weak and kind of out of it, but alot better today. cant wait till tommorow, full liquids, and the stomach growling is gonna end up being ur first bowl movement, a lil diarreah, but its all good, at least u know the plumbing is working,And as for the hunger thing girl i know what ur feeling, foe some odd reason im craving a salad sooooo bad, and a peice of grilled fillet of fish. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............... soon enough though right?
