I'm back at my hotel!
Surgery yesterday was a breeze! 31 minutes long. I feel like I got kicked in the gut, and I have a bunch of gas, but other than that I feel great. No more pain meds. My blood pressue is already resolved. I just finished a 20 minute walk on the treadmill downstairs. I can't wait to start my new life!
Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. It really helped carry me through. I appreciate all of you!

OMG! That's fantastic. Keep walking .Get some of that sunshine! Youre back just in the nic of time. My computer decided to take a "vacation". So I'll need you to start posting the surgery list if it is possible. If you are not up to it, just send me the file to my laptop email. [email protected]
So glad to hear from you. Boy 31 minutes.....what did you have done?

I had the mini-gastric bypass. They make a tube out of your stomach, and attach the bottom of the stomach to the intestine. My dr. bypassed 6 feet of intestine. The other gals who had it done that day with me were 35 minutes and 43 minutes. The 43 minute one had a complication and lost 3 tablespoons of blood instead of the normal 1 teaspoon, so she had to have a drain put in. But still, 43 minutes is great too!
I'll take some time today and see where you left off on the list. Thanks for covering that for me while I was gone. You did a great job!
