ABOUT 2 WEEKS FROM MY WLS
I am going tomorrow, and I don't have all that much packed... from what I hear, you are so drugged up, you don't need much...
This is the list of what I have.
Pillow (with bright pillowcase)
tootbrush & toothpaste
hairbrush
loose clothes to wear home (whatever I wear there)
my iPod
chapstick
fingernail clippers (I get a lot of hangnails)
Thank you notes for those that are helping me out while in the hospital (I can get a jump start on getting those written, if I am up to it)
Pad of paper and pen for a journal
Pads (just in case)
and a small toddler fan that I can set on my tray if I get too hot...
I think that about covers it... and some of that they have at the hospital if you don't want to pack it, like a hairbrush, toothbrush and toothpaste and pads.. but I am picky so I have my own packed... LOL.... I know I have heard many people say that they brought books, magazines and other things to do, but never got to them.... So don't pack too much, between walking, sipping and sleeping you won't have much time for anything..... from what I have heard at least... Best of luck to you...

I took two sets of comfy pj's the ones I wore there and another in my bag. Just incase I spilled something on myself. I just took a hair brush, toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion, lip balm, my cell phone. You may want to take slippers to walk the hall, I wore flip flops from Old Navy. I just wanted to sleep and I was only there for a night so I didn't care what I looked like. If you have trial size shampoo and conditioner and want to wash your hair take that and a blow dryer if you need it. Respitory doesn't let you sleep so take the snooze when you can. Ask for popcicles, they made me feel good too. Good luck and will be praying for you. Jackie
