Joy- 1 week out!

HI all- Its hard to believe its been a week. As of today, I have lost 9 pounds. I am still on what my doc calls modified liquids and won't move to purees until the 29th. I have been surviving on protein shakes and broth with protein powder or skim milk. I find that warm things taste best to me going down. No nausea or dumping, so so far so good. Also, popsicles make a good evening treat! Anyway, just checking in and looking for other liquid ideas. Hope all are well- Joy

Joy, Glad to hear that you are doing so well... The only idea I can give you on liquids would be sf Jell-O. That is all I can think of to add to what you are already doing... I don't know how many things are on the "modified" liquids... I know what I will be able to have, but I have a different doctor, so my things may be different.... Congratulations on the weight loss, that is so awesome! The only only thing I can think of (and not sure if this counts) is those drinkable yogurt things. I've never had one so I don't know if they taste good or not! Sorry. I am planning on eating the same things you are for the first 2 weeks! If you come up with anything brilliant, let us know! Denise
