Thanksgiving

Well we had our Thanksgiving dinner this past Sunday, my kids were feeling like it was strange but everyone had a great time. I've been so busy at work trying to finish up tons of odds and ends before I leave this Friday so I've been MIA to say the least. I start my pre-op clear liquid diet on Saturday and report to the hospital at 3pm on Monday! WOW is that going to be a long day! Anyhow, I thought I'd stick this in here amongst all the losers and let you know where I've been. Less than one week and I can't wait. Michelle

I know what you are feeling and going through right now. Let me just tell you when that when you wake up after surgery all those emotions will be gone and a new journey you will face. Face it all HEAD on, thats exactly what I am doing and let me tell you its working. The fear you feel right now will be gone and replaced with HOPE. I will be thinking of you and praying everthing went as smooth and perfect as mine did. I have had some bumps in the road but just little ones.....Take care and just remember it is SO WORTH it, Love Jackie

I'm glad you had time to celebrate with your family before the surgery! I am a Nov. 20th date, too, so we'll be in this together!!! Good luck getting everything wrapped up for your time off - I teach at a college, so I am very lucky that with the holiday time we have off, I only had to take 2 days of vacation and then back to work on the 27th! I'll be thinking and praying for you and all the other Nov. 20ths! Denise
