Leaving for Tulsa and surgery

Well, the time is almost here. I'm leaving in the morning to go to Tulsa to have my ICV filter placed. Then, the plan is to spend the night in Tulsa and be at the hosp at 8:00 am for surgery Tuesday morning at 10:00. I'm going thru a mixture of emotions right now. Fear and nervousness seem to be the biggest right now. But, I'm also excited to begin my new life. I've had a rough weekend, having started my period last week and it not stopping when it was supposed to. Plus, I'm having horrible cramps. My husband thinks my nerves are only making it worse. Then, I have a cold with cough and I'm afraid it's going to cause my surgery to be cancelled. I'm going to call my surgeon's office first thing in the morning and see if this will present a problem. Hopefully not. Otherwise, hopefully I'll be on the losing side Tuesday. I'm praying that God will guide my surgeon's hands (and everyone else's surgeon's also). Loretta

Loretta, Prayers going out for you during both your IVC filter placement and your surgery... I will be having my IVC filter put in while you have your WLS.... Wish you could tell me all about it, but I guess I will have to find out on my own... Best wishes to you... see you on the losing side.... Shawn M.
