I got a Surgery Date the Day before Thanksgiving

I have mostly been a lurker on OH but I am too happy to lurk anymore because I finally have a surgery date for 11-22-06m the day before Thanksgiving--I will surely have a lot to be thankful for this year! Zibilla (I live in Vermont, getting surgery at DHMC in New Hampshire) Ps Am looking for an angel too...

Congrats on your surgery date!! As far as finding an Angel I would look for someone that lives close to you so they can visit you in the hospital and bring you anything you need. If you don't have anyone close to you, I'll be happy to call and check on you in the hospital and report back to the group how you are doing. Take Care Cynthia

Hi - I'm on the same date as you! According to my doc's office we're very brave for choosing that date. Heck, I like being called BRAVE! thanks everyone! I feel so supported and I am especially happy to hear from those of you getting surgery on or near the same day as I am--that is so cool!!!! Personally I know I would rather be having this surgery on Thanksgiving than being at Thanksgiving and either stuffing myself and feling guilty afterwards or not eating anything and feeling deprived! Yippie!
