its me BRITT 11-6 surgery

Hi all - My first post - post op I am doing ok here is the scoop day of surgery they couldn't get the picc line in after 3 tries - they did a regular IV out of surgery felt gross, in pain and nauseas - the next day i felt GREAt!!! THE NEXT DAY was horrible! They took me off the pain pump the evening before and tried to crush the percoset - it made me feel nauseaes - they tried another drug ...again then they switched me to a liquid med. I haven't had to take it yet - i just have bad gas pains I am walking , sipping and taking gas x i am getting all my stuff in (but its work!!!!) I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE GAS TO GO AWAY AND THE drains to come out. thanks for all your thoughts and prayers Karen I (my angel) told me all of your messages! hugs, Britt

It's GREAT to hear from you Britt! I'm glad you had a good day in there between all the gas pains. I hope they go away FAST! When do you go get your drains out?

Glad to hear you are home and doing pretty good. Sounds like you are having good days and bad days, but I am sure they will get better and better as time goes on and then you will be feeling better than ever. Congrats on being a loser!!!! Shawn M.

Welcome Home Britt !!! When are you able to get your drains out?? Do they give you anything in hospital to help with the gas pains?? Karen did a great job keeping us informed, so sweet. Sounds like you're doing great !! Keep that bench warmed up for us Huggs & Blessings, Lori
