Lap band Nov 2

Looking for a Lap bander going to have surgey around that date so I can compare notes.

I'm having a lap band on Nov 8th. I'm very excited but also extremely nervous about having the procedure. I've been scheduled for RNY in the past and it was cancelled due to ongoing health problems. Because of my ongoing health problems (major colon problem) the surgeon was not sure if the RNY was even possible so surgery was cancelled. The lap band seems like the right procedure for me but still a bit scary considering my medical history. I go in for my pre-surgery labs and hospital paperwork tomorrow, 11/1/06, so it is beginning to be real for me. Good luck to all on their upcoming surgeries. Kathy
