Is the first half of the month on liquid yet?

Hi Marilyn I'm the 20th but only have my full liquid diet for two days pre-op....I know what you mean about coffee but I'm trying to just cut it out by then I don't know but i'm trying Michelle

Only two days of liquids? Hmmmm.... I wonder if it's too late for me to switch Surgeons! I know I'll have to stop with the coffee... I'm pretty sure it's real bad for the new pouch.. my plan is to stop coffee two days before surgery and then not start again till pouchy is strong enough (or till I find myself contemplating mugging anyone I catch walking out of Starbucks)

I stopped coffee and all caffeine about 2 months ago... I will have an occasional pop here and there, but that is it... I didn't want to go through the withdrawl, so I did it slowly. Good Luck with that... Shawn M.

My surgeon does not require any type of diet before the surgery - just don't eat or drink the night before. How cool is that?
