One more week - Surgery 11/7
It feels so right. My last day of work is Thursday, and I plan to pack away my work clothes, because I will never wear them again. By the time I return to work the end of November, my clothes should be too big or too baggy. It is very hard to conceive, but its a very exciting feel. The changes in my life with be dramatic but I look forward to it. If I don't write, see you on the other side.
I know what you mean.. I Have been giving away my summer clothes.. know that they will be WAY to big for me next summer. My friend gladly took my shorts, especially the ones with tags still on them.. LOL.... It is hard to imagine not wearing them, but I won't be..... how cool is that... Wooooooooo Hooooooooo

Kay I know what you mean. I have a clothes and bins of clothes (yes I am a bit of a pack rat) of so many sizes. I really need to start going through them, but not knowing where I'll be when I find this hard to do right now. Also, I have so few work clothes that is going to be quite a dilemna for me when I do go back. It's probably the only thing that hasn't been sorted out in my mind yet. Good luck to you and I can't wait to be on the other side myself.

Awesome plan! I haven't started to sort clothes yet, but I have stopped myself from buying ANY new clothes for the past several weeks knowing I'll just end up giving them away... would so much rather spend money on smaller sizes!!!
Dramatic but SOOOOO exciting!!!

Hi Kay Bee! I am with you on the 7th Blessing to you! I cleaned out my closest when I made the decision to have WLS. 10n bags I gave to the Good Will! I have so many sizes anyway from being up and down I put the jeans in size order in my closet, I can't wait to get to the last pair. Good Luck and take care I will be thinking of you and all of us who are taking the LEAP to Healthy living! Love Jackie SE MI
How funny about the clothes...I can't seem to actually get rid of anything yet just because I can't really believe I won't need them anymore. But I just moved and was putting all my clothes away again and thinking...I probably won't need these anymore but just couldn't toss them. I've been at this weight for quite some time and don't have a lot of clothes that I can move into so I'm going to be haunting sales and thrift stores pretty quickly I think...I hope
We are pretty close in dates...mine is just three days after on the 10th, we'll have to compare notes!!
Good luck!

Good luck to you too Corinna. I have been buying clothes but it has mostly been summer clothes because I am going on a cruise in Feb and there won't be much around to buy for warmer weather then. I have been buying xl which looks pretty small when you had been buying 26/28. It'll be exciting to see how this all pans out.
Lori, thanks for keeping in your prayers. I am at peace with my decision. And your right, by next spring, people will wonder what happened to us because we will look so GOOD. I remember a few years back when every spring my neighbor would have a new baby in the house. I was surprised because I never saw his wife PG. Well now the reverse will be with us. We'll surprise them all.
