I got my date today!!!! Yeaaaaaa. November 6. Only 10 days away. I still do not know which surgery I will be having Lap or RNY. I have a EGD scheduled next Tuesday and the results will be the deciding factor. So much to do.

WOW! That's quick! Is it a little frustrating not knowing what kind of surgery you will be having yet? The two are SO different. Best of luck to you!

It is strange not knowing, but I am sure of the surgery. I will know 6 days before surgery. This whole journey has been so easy for me because I just put it in God's hands and have gone along for the ride. I have yet to hit a bump or have a problem. My appontments were all quick because someone cancelled same with the surgery date. So I know I am on the right track. Regardless of the type.

Congrats - We share the same surgery date - I am having LAP RNY - Are you leaning toward one or the other? It would drive me crazy not knowing. I have done so so so so much reading about "what to expect" - I can't imagine not knowing until 6 days before. anayway - WELCOME TO NOVEMBER AND keep us posted on what you decide.
