Surgery date is November 13th

My surgery date is November 13th. I have a 2nd consult with my doctor on November 1st. My pre-op testing is on the 6th. I am already nervous. I can't imagine what I will be like when my surgery date gets closer.

Woooo Hooooo!!!! You will be on that losers bench before you know it. I know what you mean about getting nervous. I think it will hit me even more when I do my pre-op testing on the 1st. I am starting to get that way though. It is really happening for us isn't it.... Yeah!!!!!! Shawn M.

Lori Congrats on your date. I follow you on the 14th. I understand about the nerves. I was talking to a co-worker who's already had RNY (July 05). I was telling him about some of my worries. We both agreed I'd be a complete basketcase by my surgery date. Will send hugs and prayers your way to calm your nerves. Loretta

Mine is on the 13th too! I just can't seem to let myself be excited though! I'm not nervous, but it seems like it isn't real! What r u getting... i'm getting the band! Good luck!

Hi Lori, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I think we're all a little nervous, but we just need to relax and think....I'm going to save my life on November 13th. It's a big deal, but we are all here for each other. You have all of our love and support!!!
