I Have a date!!!!!!!! Yahoooooo

I just wanted to touch bases with my fellow November surgical buddies.. My date is Nov 13th, (open RNY) Seems like forever away, but really only 5 weeks now, and the only reason I couldnt have my original date of Oct. 30th was I am having surgery at a an army hospital and the anesthesoligists are far and few and for some reason they werent treating the one who works with overweight people very nicely to say the least so he left for greener pastures, so I am waiting for the new one to be flown in instead of risking it with a anestheoligist who has never worked with WLS.. I am not hugely over weight and they wanted to do it anyway said there was no bigger risk then with the other one but I said I would just wait.. so Nov. 13 this the next date, plus they only do wls surgery everyother monday.. anyway, looking forward to watching everyones progress and triumphs Alohajennih

Good luck and congrats...... I'd rather wait for an experienced anesthetist than risk it with someone on a learning curve! Mary
