Surgery 11/6

Hi all, I was on the October board. I WAS scheduled to have my surgery 10/9 (this monday) but I have come down with a pesky cold. My PCP has canceled my surgery and I had to reschedule. My new date is Monday November 6th. I went from 2 days away to 30 days away. Ugh. I have to redo my presurgical testing and my medical clearance - UGH. I LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING TO KNOW YOU ALL ... anyone have the same date as me? Britt

Mine is 11/15. I think there is a 11/10 and 11/13. All so close together! It's very exciting! I bet it's tough to have to wait another month and go through all the testing and clearances again. Ugh!

Do you have to do a liquid diet? If so how long? My starts Oct.27. I am not looking forward to it. Stacey

Stacey, No, my surgeon doesn't require that. I have a clear liquid diet the day before surgery and nothing after midnight, weird how each surgoen is different - with what they require - right? 25 more days girl... an d we will be LOOSERS! Good luck on that liquid diet keep in touch, Britt

My surgery date has been scheduled for 11/13. I am so excited. I am actually trying to get my date moved up but I won't know until Thursday. They said they might have a 10/30 date or an 11/6 date available. This is my first post, I think. I've been a member for a while though. Now that I am approved and getting ready for surgery, I feel like shouting from the rooftops! I guess this site will have to do! lol. Good luck to everyone! We can do this!!!! Susan
