I HAVE A DATE 11/28

This is my first post, everything seems to be going so fast, after reading peoples profile about insurance issues I was expecting alot of problems. I work for the Federal Government so I have blue cross blue sheild ppo federal employee program they have to be the best insurance company so far. I went to my Consultation October 2, 2006 at 2:00 and on October 3, 2006 at 9:00 am the drs office called and said she just got off the phone with the insurance and it had been approved, I could not beleave it!!!! So now all my pre-opt visits are scheduled and I go in for lap gastric bypass on Nov 28 I and so excited

Congratulations, Holly!! I also have BCBS Federal and the approval was a cinch. I grew up in Fairfax County, VA but now live in Miami. I miss the Fall and the mountains of Virginia! I don't think I ever went to Strasburg... Regards, Merci.

I'm having my surgery at Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax. The leaves are starting to change now I love the fall. I have lived in Va all my life but mostly in Fauquier County in a small town called The Plains we are buying a house in Strasburg, our house is on on the side of a mountain by the national forest I love it...... Strasburg is about 30 minutes from winchester and about 45 minutes from fairfax (depending on the traffic) I'll let you go hope to talk to you soon by the way have you had the surgery yet or are you scheduled?

Oh, boy, how I miss the fall!! I lived pretty close to Fair Oaks for many years (in Fairfax City), and went to college at GMU down the road. I've heard of The Plains, too, never been there! Kind of sad, no? I always went to the same places -- Leesburg, Charlottesville, and Williamsburg! My surgery will be on Friday, Nov. 10th (the day before my BIG 4-0!!). Talk to you soon, Merci.
