Day 3 - I was going to go to the gym for 45 minutes of cardio, but opted to take my 8 year old granddaughter to a water park for the day instead. We climbed all of the water slides and braved the wave pool and stayed from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I was just too tired to go to the gym. We only stopped once for lunch. Does that count??? Diane C.

Today I did 30 minutes treadmill, 10 UBE, and 10 stepper, so I met my cardio goal. I also did my leg weights and new exercises to work on my saddlebags that just keep creeping down lower and lower. Christine

Congrats that is so awsome. Can you tell me exactly what you are eating on a day to day basis. Im working out hard and eating about 4-5 oz 3x/day plus 2 snacks and losing very slow. I actually think I may not be getting in enough food. Im bored with my eating and may be eating the wrong things. My goal also is to run a 5k soon. If you would email me what your eating and maybe I can get off this plateau. Again congrats Leann 235/143/125 frustrated

Day 3 I did it I actually did it!!!! I ran 2 miles without stopping then walked another mile to cool down! Never in my life did I ever think that I would be excited about running. Or exercising for that matter. now if I could only get my husband to exercise! Thanks for the accountability! Leann 235/143/125

I am aiming for 5 days of excercise. Day 1 I did 1 hour aerobics and pilates. Day 2 I had 1 hr weight training. Day 3 will be a repeat of day 1. Day 4 and 5 will be 1 hr of weight training each day. My weight training routine has been increased in intensity in hopes of reducing the batwings and saggy thighs that are more noticable since I have lost so much weight. My butt is being kicked royally.

I ran a 5k on my 7 month anniversary and trained every day post-op for the run. When I had the surgery, I couldn't even walk up the stairs in my house to get to my tv room and I was bound and determined to run this 5k. I had lost 150 pounds in the 7 months and finishing the run was just icing on the cake. I'm 8 1/2 months out now and hope to have my PS in October when I'll be 11 months out. My every day is getting in my protein, never creating, never overeating, and drinking only water. Up until my race, I worked out 5 days a week but since my race, I've slacked off some and have only lost 1 1/2-2 pounds a week lately so the weight loss has slowed down a lot. My goal is to lose 20 more pounds before PS which means I need to kick it in gear and work out to achieve the goal.
