Topic: November 05er's Cumulative Weight Loss
Of the 19 people that posted back to my original post, we've lost a total of 2,060 lbs. That's over one ton!!!! That's an average of 108.42 lbs/person or 12.05 lbs/month/person since last November!
Way to go ladies! With stats like that you gotta wonder how some people can think that WLS doesn't work.
If you didn't respond to the original post and would like to be included, respond to this post.

Stephanie;
Definitely increase your protein. If you don't see a change within a week, make an appointment with your nutritionist.

I would agree with the prev. post. I too have started running and had the same problem. I have increased my calorie intake(not the correct way high cal carbs) and have lost 3 lbs in the past week. I wouldnt reccommend the high cal carb but I cannot think of other foods that i can get in without being a grazer and I dont want that either. I also did the food journal and did find that I was only at like 800 cal/day way to low.
Also if you look at a couple post back you will see that your weight loss is actually pretty aveage for most of us. Keep up the good work on the running I also have a goal of a 5 k originally it was for this spring but there is the race for the cure coming up and I may do that a friend said that I need to push for 5 miles so that way You dont get a fatigued toward the end of the 5k. keep me posted.

You may need to increase your calorie intake oper day becasue of your increase in excercise. Sounds a bit counter productive, but you need fuel in order to lose weight. Try it, many have found that increasing calories is the answer. Good luck.
Topic: 9 month plateau
Hi all! It's ben forever since I've been here.
We moved and the only IS we get is dial up and it takes forever to get here. I'm also having a problem getting daily posts sent to my e-mail to know what's going on here. The good news...I'M BACK!
OK...here's my issue. I'm 9 mo out (like all of you) and have stayed at 95-97 pound for the last 2 months or so. I have just a few to get to onederland and my century card...and then another 40. I am very frustrated, I'm a health care provider and know all the does and don'ts and I'm just not getting it!
2 months ago I started training for a 5K run, couldn't even run one time around the track, now I ENJOY a 3.5 mile 3-4 times a week. (who'd of thunk!)
I know, I know, muscle weighs more than fat, but this isn't just muscle gaining, my clothoing size isn't changing either. I am officially taking out the food journal again and logging all the essentials....do any of you have any ideas for breaking this plateau?
Thanks for any input!
Stephanie
