i havent had many ppl make comments but what i am getting im enjoying. i try not to let my x husbands lack of support bother me but ya know,we r possed to be trying to get back together and he just acts like my worst enemy through all this. he constantly eats things in front of me he knows i cant have, he makes fun of me bout how little i can eat (2 ozs), and then the lack of support when i am doing good. now i remember all the reasons we divorced and i just dont think this is gonna work. thanks for saying im doing good-- sometimes i worry bout my wl but since ive upped my protein im doing better. cant wait til i can say im down 50 lbs. anyday now i will b able to!!! lisa

Hi everyone!!! Ill be 12 weeks out on Thurs I started at a size 24 and am now in a 14/16 shopping is so fun!!!! I was 266 day of WLS and today am at 206 -60lbs ~Bethany

Today I wanted to walk outside even thou it is like 100 degrees below zero (feels like it anyway) I put on sweats ..&.. a sweatshirt... a zip up hoddie.. my winter coat.. gloves.. scarf ..&.. a hat (plus I have the hoodie hat on and my winter coat has a hood... you get the picture) I go outside feeling warm, happy I decide to take this hike. Fast forward i am a 1/2 block away from home and I totally wipe out on some ice. My tailbone kills, my face hurts (hit my cheeck somehow?) and my pride is bruised worse of all.... tommorrow I am just gonna rest! Going to soak in a hot bath... I feel like I am a 100. You guys are doing so great, I am so proud of all of you! Kim PS... Pam. my twinnie... you are really moving there girl! Great job!

Well, I almost met my goal last week. I missed by one day, the Superbowl got in the way This week my goal is to exercise 5 times for at least 30-40 minutes each time, and at least 3 days of those at the gym. I'm off to the gym right now, so hopefully this week will be better. Thanks for keeping tabs! I hope everyone does well this week!! --Dana

Diva Shannell I did my daily 2miles on treadmill 6 days! This week I will do the same but add resistance training for 10-15 mins everyother day! Thanks for the encouragement!!!! Pam J.

DIVA, im keeping my challenge the same for this week as its a challenge for me to just exercise right now. so my goal is : 3x's a week for 20 mins each way to go on ur weight loss!!!! last week i couldnt weigh so im gonna do it tomorrow and see how much ive lost. thanks for keeping this going and getting me off my butt!!! lisa

Dear Shanell, I've been exercising from the beginning--gradually adding time and intensity. I'm up to 30 min. of biking in the morning but can't lengthen that and still get to work on time! So my goal is to add strengthing in the evening. I'm meeting with the physical therapist tomorrow to see if she can help me devise a plan. I have very bad knees and have to be careful. But one thing I've noticed about the benefit of exercise (I'm not one who just loves to exercise)--the weight lose is more balanced than when I lost weight before by watching calories. I'm "hippy" by nature, but I staying more in proportion now whereas before I lost faster in the top than the bottom. Yet another reason to exercise! Sally

Lisa Thanks for posting this comment. I've been having some issues with this very subject. It's always nice to recieve compliments I tell you what...it's REALLY difficult being single right about now. I mean I don't want an Ex coming back into my life (and boy are they trying) and yet it feels weird when I meet someone who is interesting in me right now. I'm torn...it would be nice to have a man beside me though this journey and yet I sometimes think it would be better if I just wait until I am done losing weight (so he doesn't have to deal with this). I don't want to have to explain my WLS to a new man. It's my journey....is that selfish (probably) BUT for once in my life this is all about me and I don't want any distractions. However, I am still a young single woman (with needs...ya know). What do you think??? I would love to hear from everyone married, single or dating. Tanya Lap RNY 11/17/05 327/275/???

Hi All, Well, I met last week's goal and I'm pumped up about continuing for week #2. My goal is to workout 5 days/week, for a minimum of 25 minutes. I increased the time by 5 minutes. On a side note, I lost 6.5 pounds from last Monday to Sunday. I am so happy about my progress. So, who's on board and what are your goals? TTYL, Shanell
