I thought the plans awlays was you lose it first from the last place you gained? I think my tummy was a weight magnet! Greetings, There is much better stuff out there then slim fast. Do you ever shop online? I would highly recommend going to www.bariatriceating.com. They have LOTS of different protein drinks, all very high quality and good tasting! Something for everyone, really. In addition, are you on solid foods yet? A lifesaver for me has been unflavored protein. (Designer Whey and AnyWhey are my favorites). You can mix it in with anything you eat or drink - mix it with your mayonaise and make egg, chicken, or ham salad. Mix it with your pudding, yogurt, soup, refried beans, etc... it gives you 20 grams of extra protein and only 90 calories. Also, I add vanilla protein powder (Body Fortress from Walmart is my favorite AND the cheapest) to my Tropicana OrangeAde so it gives me my fluids AND 20 grams of protein, with only 95 calories. Much better than the 190 from Slimfast!!! Also, if you log everything you eat into www.fitday.com, it'll give you a really good idea of how much you're taking in, in addition to tracking your progress, etc. I'm addicted to that site! Hey Tanya I have been all three (married, single, dating...) and I do understand what you are saying. I have personally found that when I am NOT "looking" but only focusing on TAMMY, I end up being more attractive to others! I've heard other people say that when they "aren't looking" men come out of the woodwork...well I think there is something to that. Soooo, keep focusing on TANYA... you're doing a great job!! Amazed is DEFINITELY a good thing!! Isn't it funny how the weight comes off certain places over others? I'm focusing all my weight loss energy on my tummy and hips! Nothing like having "skinny" arms and legs and a big middle! Tammy

HeyDiva! I missed the first week but I am joining you on this challenge. I will start at 20min of walking 5 days a week. My time has been very short since surgery so I have been slacking in the workout department. Thanks for the reminder that is OH so important. I'm starting tonight!! Tee

yeah i understand bout being single and going through all this. i think it would b nice to have someone to talk to and share my excitement. but we have to be careful who we pick to accompany us on this journey. not everyone understands or even cares(see my x for that) bout our journey to getting heathy. and u know, i thought i wanted to try to get with my x again but the more i lose the more i respect myself and want more in a relationship. i now know i deserve to be cared about and cared for. i havent always known that. so for now im trying to figure out a way to get rid of my x and enjoying my new health and wl. and im enjoying the attention. i even have a new friend so we'll see lisa
